After 10 years of graphic and web design, Zaid made the jump to UX, and has since worked at Intel, Xbox, and Expedia. He runs design workshops and one-on-one portfolio coaching for people who want to transition into UX.

Zaid has worked in a wide range of domains - from gaming console operating systems to travel eCommerce to car dealership software.

He has worked on projects for companies such as Intel, Xbox, Microsoft Azure, and Expedia.com.

Zaid's most recent role was UX designer at CDK Global, where he improved 30 year old legacy accounting software to speed up and modernize how car dealerships process invoices and purchase orders.

In my role as UX designer on the Expedia.com Hotels team, I was responsible for designing A/B tests for the Hotel Search results and Hotel Details webpage templates.

I gained knowledge of how to come up with hypotheses and how to design tests.

Our test designs had to be performance, accessible, on brand, and mobile-up responsive.
