Wilson Mwanthi

I am a highly motivated individual who enjoys taking challenges and working with a team to accomplish a shared goal. I am dynamic, creative, dedicated, and results oriented. Quick to adapt to new opportunities and have ability to plan and organize my own work.

Over the past 8 years I have gained experience in the design of Irrigation Systems and related Water and Sanitation infrastructure. This includes technical designs for various gravity and irrigation systems – surface, sprinkler, and drip, covering intake works (weirs and intakes), conveyance and distribution systems (piped and canal) and related structures and in-field irrigation systems. I have also gained experience in working with rural and urban communities of different economic standards and cultures in respect to water resource development projects.

I have experience in using Microsoft Office packages, AutoCAD and WaterCAD design packages; Map Source, Global Mapper and ArcView GIS mapping packages; Cropwat, and Climwat, among others.

During my free time I engage in academic writing, designing logos, painting, and drawing using a ball pen. I also enjoy spending time with my dogs.
