Hello! I’m Wajiha Khan, a seasoned HR professional with over 12 years of experience in driving organizational success through strategic HR leadership, talent acquisition, and development. My expertise lies in recruitment, organizational development, policy and benefit structuring, job sizing, and strategic business partnering. I am passionate about aligning HR practices with business objectives to enhance productivity and profitability.

Throughout my career, I have successfully led large-scale change management initiatives, developed high-performing teams, and implemented innovative HR solutions. As a People Manager at u-blox, I spearheaded change management initiatives in alignment with global business strategies, designed and executed employee engagement and development programs, and evaluated and proposed changes to benefits, policies, and SOPs for global alignment.

In my role as Head of Talent Management and OD at Systems Limited, I developed strategic frameworks for policy and benefit, learning and development, and talent management across Pakistan, MEA, and APAC. I led global talent development programs, executed 284 training sessions in 2023, and implemented the SAP succession planning module. My efforts resulted in a more competent and prepared workforce, ready to meet the challenges of a dynamic business environment.

At Samsons Group, I revamped performance management systems, standardized recruitment processes, and implemented HRIS, ensuring a streamlined and efficient HR function. My work in developing and implementing MTO and mentorship programs helped build a strong talent pipeline, crucial for the organization’s long-term success.

My tenure at Zameen Media saw me implementing organization-wide OD initiatives, re-engineering HR operations to eliminate backlogs, and improving service delivery. I resolved up to 8000 HR requests within two working days, demonstrating my ability to handle high-volume tasks efficiently. Additionally, I designed core competency dictionaries and job profile templates for global use, contributing to the organization’s leadership development and retention strategies.

As a Manager HR at the British Council, I led performance management and compensation strategies for South Asia, conducted salary surveys, and developed incremental salary increase plans. I partnered with unit heads for succession planning and talent development and led the global change management and organizational restructuring program for the Exams department.

I hold a Master of Business Administration in HR, Marketing, and Finance from the Lahore University of Management Sciences and a Master of Science in Psychology. From University of Punjab. My certifications include Job Sizing and Job Mapping from Hays, Compensation and Benefit from HRSG, and Performance Management and Talent Acquisition from the British Council.
