I started as an inbound sales representative for Dell Technologies. I am selling computers to parts, accessories, and other electronics. Aside from taking inbound calls, I also do outbound calls to increase close rate from the leads of the inbound calls. As a consistent top sales representative, I got invited to apply for a training officer and started my career in the training department right after. 

As a training officer (still with Dell Technologies) I trained new hire trainees from Foundation (Soft) Skills Training to Product Training. Foundation Training covers American/Canadian culture, Communication skills (listening skills, basic English grammar, accent neutralization, etc.) and selling skills (FAB, RIPC, Customer mindset, etc.). I also do cross training, refresher training, roadshows, and specialized (bottom performers) training. I create most of the training design/materials for specialized training identified on the training needs analysis. After 7 years of being a training officer, I moved up to become a training supervisor (UBER). This role made me understand the responsibilities of a leader and help trainers succeed. I trained trainers on effective coaching and evaluated trainers based on performance and character (scorecard). Career and character development coaching/training were most requested by trainers for self improvement.

When I left the BPO Industry after 10yrs, I ventured in a different role and Industry.I became a business planning/development manager. I was able to adapt quickly to the role/s because of the years of experience I had with sales and customer service. Initially, the bulk of my responsibility is for business planning because it is a startup company, I helped all departments to create standard processes and I (with the guidance of our CEO) also built a process (Sales and Operations Planning) across all departments. As SOP is stabilizing, I focused on business development and account management. I was able to apply strategic negotiating and sales skills and establish a good relationship with clients. Starting from zero connections, I was able to build my network in the supply chain and logistics industry in the Philippines. I believe that success can always be achieved with the right amount of aggressiveness and perseverance.
