As an Operational/Customer Risk Manager:
As a customer support officer/Operational Risk officer, I help customers with complaints and questions, give customers accurate information about products and services, take orders, and process returns, as well as avoid any form of risk of customer dissatisfaction from crystalizing, I identify any potential risk that could lead to customer dissatisfaction and evaluate identified risk then proffer solutions to such identified risk.
I am saddled with the responsibility to carry out daily, Weekly and Monthly risk Assessment of the following Departments: Benefit, Human resource, Information and technology, Investments (Money Market, Commercial Papers and Treasury Bills) and Customer care Department ie identification, assessment and Management of Risk.
I ensure that all potential risk, such as Customer Dissatisfaction/risk, Regulatory infractions, operational risk, Market Risk etc, are avoided and mitigated. If such identified risk occurs I ensure proper mitigating action are put in place to reduce the impact of the crystalized risk.
As an Enterprise Risk management officer, I was saddled with the responsibility to ensure continuity of service to customers, partners and shareholders during disruptions as a result of a critical disaster. This Plan enacts the entire business continuity strategy that will aid proper disaster management processes. I was also responsible to assist the Company to undertake risk assessment and management planning, business impact analyses, and create incident/emergency response and recovery plans for the business as a whole.
The Business Continuity Plan is also aimed at implementing effective planning system and responding to potential or actual events of disasters that put organizations and people at risk.
This planning system helps the business to assess its capacity to provide services to customers and operate effectively during disaster occurrence and emergencies. It also Identify alternative strategies to be able to continue to provide services to customers during disaster occurrence and emergencies.
