About

I have studied Accounting in High School. I have Bachelors degree in Economics and International Business. I have Masters degree in Industrial and B2B Marketing. During this master I have made an Internship in the Czech Republic for 6 months (Erasmus Scholarship). At this internship I had 3 tasks:
-Market research to find workforce from Romania and Bulgaria: welders who want to work in the Czech Republic.
-To create a database with the companies from Romania and Bulgaria that could be outsourced by the Czech company for some tasks: milling, turning, cutting of metal parts using laser technology.
-To find new customers from French, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian and Finnish markets. To create a database of potential clients and contacting them by phone and persuade them to send us a Request For Quotation.
During my studies I have worked in fields like: life insurance (ING, for 2 years), car insurance (Omniasig for 3 years), sales& marketing (for half year), banking (for 1 year)
After I ended my studies I started a business in the translations field with my boyfriend. We made the business plan, we created the company name, we designed the logo, we made the text for the flyers, for the site and for the offers.
My main responsibilities were:
•market researching and identifying the potential clients: Creating and sending offers to the potential clients, Creating and managing databases; promoting the image of the company, including designing;
•negociating and closing contracts;
•maintaining the clients and requiring feedback;
•designing and sending the newsletters to subscribers in our database;
•Internship coordination; we had 3 students in a marketing internship.
•Event planner; creating a business event to celebrate our first year of POLIGLOTIS: Translate your business.
•Website administration www.poliglotis.com;
•Copywriting: writing articles for the blog.
•Email marketing;
•Participating at the events, conferences;
•Coordinating the translators team (including selection process);
•online marketing: Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+; offline marketing(flyers, partnership with big names in our local industry, participating at the conferences and events,

After 3 years we have translated over 5000 pages and we have over 2000 clients. We have succesfully developed the business to its maximum potential and then it was bought by a powerful investor. He can extend it even further beyond our current financial and influential possibilities.
