Toni Mounsear-Wilson

My near 10 years of being involved in the sports management environment began in 2009 when I was employed by the stadium operators for the then incomplete Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium where my ability to crisis manage with a clear head soon catapulted me into a position of project managing the FIFA World Cup for the stadium.

I have been privileged to have been at the forefront of event management for over 90 rugby derbies, 50 soccer derbies, 8 international music concerts, 4 rugby test matches, 17 international soccer matches and 25 international rugby matches during this time. My involvement including hospitality management, commercial rights management, volunteer coordinator, operational management, team liaising amongst others.

In 2016 I was seconded and then contracted as the Operations Manager for the Southern Kings Rugby (SA Super Rugby PTY Ltd) in preparation for their re-entry into Super Rugby and then their introduction into PRO14 rugby.
