While my journey in a full-time role began with content writing, four years on, I've picked up several skills, such as data/content curation, strategy, online marketing, content tagging, and SEO. From here on, I’ve decided to use the skills acquired to work as an Independent Content Strategist and Curator.
In the last few years, I have worked primarily in the travel domain, with the most recent role being a Content Lead in Tripoto, a user-generated travel content platform. In my role, I was structuring the company’s content database, managed landing pages and created a crawlable website architecture. (Check out the designated experience section for more details)
Before joining Tripoto, I was working with MakeMyTrip, a leading OTA, to strategize and curate content for the Holidays platform. While there, I worked on providing itineraries for all online holiday packages, created a training set for machine learning so we could go live with a pre-booking chatbot, curated Visa details for the Visa platform, created destination-specific categories that segregated packages based on their offerings, thereby providing better visibility and increased bookings.
Always a lover of Shakespeare, I did my M.A. in English Literature from the University of Nottingham, with modules that focussed on popular literature's impact on the psyche of people. During the course, I managed to bag some part-time gigs, ranging between hosting services in restaurants and offline marketing promotions.
I'm currently working independently on content projects and building a remote working profile. I'm always open to curating content and providing content strategy while adding value via the content I write and market.
