•Excellent knowledge in the field of computer science, hardware, networking, programming languages (PHP,

JAVASCRIPT, FORTRAN, C/C++, HTML, VB, VB.Net, Python, FLEX and SQL) and experience in data management.

•Great experience with MySQL/ PostgreSQL databases.

•Deploy various applications, like visualizations software in VB .NET and FLEX handling kml, xml, NetCDF and other geospatial related files, map APIs and custom interactive web-based GIS applications (Leaflet, GeoServer, MapServer).

•Web design and development, hardware and software maintenance/troubleshooting.

•Build and maintain Linux and Windows servers (Apache, Tomcat, FTP, VPN, IIS, etc.) and other specialized servers as the THREDDS Data Server (TDS) using OPENDAP, OGC, WMS, WCS, HTTP and other remote access protocols.

•GIS analysis and automation / ArcObjects, Python for ArcGIS, .NET for ArcGIS, WEB GIS.

▪Very good knowledge of GIS software as ArcMAp and other ESRI products, Saga, Merkaartor, Quantum GIS.

•Decision making and solution development related to software and technology.

•Participate in numerous EU funding projects.
