Feb 2001 to Aug Sr. Manager Marketing, Indiainfo.com, Bangalore 2004 An integrated Internet company engaged in providing content, community and commerce to Indian consumers and businesses. (now a part of Dainik Bhaskar) One of the first portals to be written off at the start of the dotcom burst. A part of the core team selected by the management of indiainfo.com to turn around the portal. The core objectives of the team was to device and implement a strategy that would broad base the revenue inflow, insulate the portal from industry specific recessions and lead to profitability and growth. The above objectives were achieved over a two-and-a-half year period, resulting in indiainfo.com becoming cash flow positive and one of the few major portals that survived the dotcom burst.
