I had started my career as a Currriculum Developer, where I was developing curriculum materials for imparting Computer education for kids (Schools/Learning Centres). Then I was promoted as the Project leader where I would be interacting with the people from learning centres/Schools to understand their requirements, would design the learning outcomes based on it, brainstorm with the team of curriculum developers, get the content developed, printed and presented. Had organised and conducted ‘Train the Trainer’ sessions and would be point of contact for the clients as well as the management.
Then I got shifted myself into to banking operations (BPO), which was one of the major booming industry in those days. After having worked as individual contributor for the multinational banks, in various processes such as Fund transfer, Wealth Management, Reconciliations, Remediation services, KYC process, etc I had moved up to the managerial level wherein I have acquired the skills of team management, client management, email handling, documentation, people handling, Record maintenance, etc.
After working about 12 years in the corporate world as a full time employee, I thought of getting into something in which I would get more flexibility in my working hours/pattern such as freelance working, so that I could strike a perfect balance between my personal and professional lives.
