I have worked in outsources business in majority of my career. Started career in 2007 in Genpact LLC until Oct 2015, where my work was to manage credit and collections of B2B customers of a Europe based pharma company. Gradually I learned different finance processes Procure to Pay, travel and expense and GL. As a career growth path I have managed a team of 32 resources managing various finance processes (P2P, Customer onboarding, T&E, Bank and Balance sheet reconciliations). This also included training new hires, career growth planning, escalation management.
- In 2015 I joined Vodafone Service pvt ltd, as a transition project manager. Where key responsibilities are to manage service transition for finance process from different Vodafone locations to Vodafone shared service centers, depending on the nature of work. This process includes Opex and Capex calculations which is required to create a business proposal and presented to operating company finance head as a value proposition for transfer of service. Following a waterfall approach, which includes hiring of resources, training, defining KPIs and SLAs and stabilize the process in shared service center.
- I have a knack of IT, and involved as a PMO in several SAP releases, where my key responsibilities were to see completion of UAT and manage issues post Go-Live.
- Currently in my portfolio I am responsible end to end service transition and strategic projects, which includes setting up of different shared service centers which can be operated to generate high value and lower operating cost for Vodafone Group
