Shujaat Ali Laghari

Shujaat Ali is an experienced, well-motivated and trained development professional. He possesses more than 5 years extensive professional experience in various reputable national level development organizations on different positions. He has built profound capacity and skills in Social Mobilization, Communication, Team Management, Leading Teams, Performing Arts, Education, Protection, Wash, Admin, Group Formation, Organizing and Facilitating Trainings, Developing Participatory Village Development Plans, Conducting Survey/Research, Monitoring and Supervising field level interventions. He also keeps vast professional experience and expertise in working in multi-sectoral projects and multi-discipline teams, challenging situation and areas and good know how about participatory community development and child centered community development approaches. His education qualification is also M.A in Sociology, M.A in Media studies and currently doing M.Phil in Media Studies from Shah Abdul Latif University KhairpurMirs.

His most experience is of 5 years as Communication & Coordination Officer in Indus Theatre Development Organization Khairpur and in Indus Resource Centre Khairpur (IRC) for three years in European Union, Oxfam Novib, UNICEF & USAID Supported projects. He is serving in field of Formal & Non-Formal Education, Social Mobilization, Technical Trainings & Employability, Hygiene & Nutrition, Protection, Livelihood & WASH. Also additional job responsibility was to entry MIS Data, Reporting & Monitoring. At present Working with Indus Resource Center (IRC) as Community Mobilizer in “Sindh Community Mobilization Program” a project of “Sindh Basic Education Program” supported by USAID in Khairpur.
