I am a seasoned logistics and supply chain professional with more than 18 years of progressive experience in freight forwarding, container terminal operations, and import–export coordination across sea and air freight. Currently working as Deputy Manager Coordination at Pak Pacific Container Terminal (Pvt.) Ltd., I am responsible for managing end-to-end operational activities related to import and export cargo movements, with a strong focus on efficiency, compliance, and stakeholder coordination.

My professional expertise lies in handling bonded and non-bonded cargo, managing rail and land transportation, and maintaining close coordination with Pakistan Railways, port authorities, transporters, consignees, and customs agents to ensure smooth cargo flow from Karachi ports to up-country destinations. I actively monitor daily traffic movements, maintain operational records through TMS and Excel-based reporting, and ensure real-time tracking of shipments to avoid delays and operational discrepancies.

Throughout my career, I have held key operational and managerial roles with reputable organizations including Portlink International Services, Allport Cargo Services, and Prime Ocean Cargo Management. In these roles, I have managed FCL and LCL shipments, handled nominations and free-hand business, supervised up-country transshipment cases, arranged warehousing and transportation, and controlled complete export and import documentation for both sea and air freight. My experience also includes working on power project logistics, coordinating with overseas partners, and educating suppliers on shipment procedures through video conferences.

I possess strong leadership and coordination skills, having supervised operational teams and provided on-ground support during critical shipment movements. I believe in hands-on management and proactive problem-solving to maintain service quality and operational continuity. My role has often involved acting as a bridge between clients, carriers, terminals, and internal teams to ensure alignment and timely decision-making.

Technically, I am proficient in logistics and shipping software such as LIMA, JAWA, INTTRA, and CLIMAX, along with MS Office tools for reporting and presentations. My performance has been recognized through awards such as Best Sea Freight Traffic Controller and Best Operations Controlling, reflecting my commitment to operational excellence.

With a strong academic background in Electronics Engineering from NED University, combined with extensive practical exposure to supply chain operations, I bring a balanced mix of technical understanding, operational control, and managerial capability to any logistics-focused organization.
