Self-Care and Self-Registration Application for IBM Tivoli Access Manager
TAM-eb lacks its own Self-Registration and Self-Care application for user to get
registered with
TAM-eb. To manage user accounts and ids IBM usually sell Tivoli Identity
Manager along with
TAM-eb which add to the cost in terms of license and administration of iTIM. There
is clear need to
have a Self-Reg and Self-Care application for TAM-eb that can be used allocate
different services to the users, so he/she can access those services through TAMeb.The application will be able to register, add or remove a user by its own. Our
approach for completing the project will be in two steps
1. Using TAM-eb with ITIM. Creating a user in ITIM and trying to manage the
access of various users.
2. Separating TAM from TIM and try to create a direct user in TAM-eb through
an application that uses Tam-eb EAI API.
