I have customized SugarCRM to meet various workflows. Also created many upgrade-safe custom modules for SugarCRM. I can customize SugarCRM not only in an upgrade-safe manner, but also tinker with the core functionality to meet any specifications. Since SuiteCRM is a fork of SugarCRM Community Edition and uses its codebase, I can (and have) work on it as well.
