My love for science lead me to do a BA in psychology with a minor in Neurology. I then wanted to use all the skills i learned in a more business environment.
To make this degree more challenging, I decided to move country, learn a new language while studying in a different one. This allowed me to perfect my english and learn hebrew in 2 years time.
My hebrew now fluent, I found a HR system support position in a global company. After implementing many changes to the teams processes, I gained more and more responsibilities. I really loved my job and carry on finding new ways to improve our team`s performance. My motivation and success were rewarded with a promotion to project manager.
After managing many projects and training the team to use the new systems, a change in management shifted the team`s motivation and performance. The company was going in a new direction.
At this time, an incredible opportunity presented itself: Working for Google.
A maternity replacement was opening and I wanted to learn more about human resources and learn about their working method and culture.
As all my team was working remotely, I learn to become very independent and improved my communication skills. After improving the results and processes of Israel HR, I had to make a decision.
Accept a lower position and sacrifice the remote lifestyle or leave the company and start building a remote career.
During my work at Google I also took a freelance contract in India. I travelled for é weeks to conduct a crisis management dril for the India offices In Pune. Having all the departments involved in the drill was very stimulating and challenging (over 100 participants)
Today I am looking for a remote position in a company that would have room for me to grow.
