About

I currently work as a Universal Teller in a Nigerian bank — a role that’s as structured as it is unpredictable. On paper, it’s about transactions, account management, and compliance. In reality, it’s about people. Every day, I interact with different personalities, solve small (and sometimes big) problems, and try to make sure every client leaves feeling a little less stressed than when they walked in. It’s a balancing act between precision and empathy, and I think that’s where I’ve learned the most. I’ve spent the last few years building a reputation for being the dependable one — the person who double-checks figures, notices inconsistencies, and somehow remembers deadlines others forget. I’m comfortable working under pressure because, well, banking teaches you that fast. But what I didn’t expect was how much I’d grow in other areas: communication, teamwork, and adaptability. When you deal with hundreds of customers a week, you learn how to read people, how to explain complex things simply, and how to stay calm when things don’t go as planned. Somewhere along the way, I realized I enjoy the structure of organization itself — setting things in order, keeping records clean, creating small systems that make life easier. That realization is what sparked my interest in becoming a Virtual Assistant. It’s not a random jump; it’s more like extending the skills I’ve been using in banking — accuracy, confidentiality, time management — into a new space where I can help individuals or businesses stay efficient and focused. I’m good with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and I’ve dabbled in Canva and CRM tools. I enjoy learning new digital platforms, probably because I like the challenge of figuring out how to make things work better. I’m also naturally good at written communication. Maybe it’s from years of writing professional emails and reports, or maybe it’s just how my brain likes to organize thoughts. Either way, I take pride in clarity. If you asked people I’ve worked with, they’d probably describe me as steady — calm, observant, reliable. I think that’s fair. I like being the person people can depend on. The one who quietly keeps things moving, even when no one’s watching. To be honest, I’m at that point where I want to expand. I love what I’ve learned in banking, but I’m also curious about working remotely, supporting clients, and using my skills in new, creative ways. That’s where I see my next chapter — somewhere between structure and flexibility, between what I already know and what I’m ready to learn.
