I have many skills to offer in return and experience in many different fields Work Experience Owner Aug 2011 - Oct 2024 Mobile Phone Solutions UK, trinty street, Dorchester, DT11UB Ran my own mobile phone repair business since 2011. I set this company up from scratch and built it up from day 1 into a successful business. Dorchester has a very closeknit community and I was very well thought of because of excellent customer service skills such as helping the elder generation resolve problems with there phones or tablets. My business grew rapidly and I eventually ended up with a team of 3 employees, but I always made sure they treated our customers in the same way I always had. Call Centre Operative Nov 2008 - July 2011 ITDN, Wareham Having recently moved to Dorchester I wanted employment asap and came across an advert for a call centre operative, I quickly learnt there system and how to handle calls coming into the centre. This job was all about customer service and dealing with enquiries quickly and efficiently. Postman Aug 2003 - Oct 2008 Royal Mail, Dartmouth delivery office Working as a Postman my duties included collecting the mail from Exeter Mail Centre and delivering to Dartmouth before sorting the mail for my own round. I then delivered letters and parcel on foot and by van depending on current workload that day. I loved working as part of the team while sorting the mail but also enjoyed getting out on my round being my own boss. Picker - Supervisor Jun 2000– Aug 2003 Robert Wiseman Dairies I started at Robert Wiseman Dairies as a picker when they first opened there distribution centre in Taunton. My main duties including picking orders and loading/unloading lorries. I was very fast and accurate at picking so I was promoted to a checker responsible for checking all orders that had been picked before they got loaded for delivery. A short time later I was promoted to a Supervisor responsible for ordering, checking drivers/deliveries in and out of the depot. Education GCSE Jun 1990 GCSE as follows: English lang B , Maths A Science B, Geography B, Business studies A. Other Activities I enjoy travelling and have been lucky enough to visit some of the most beautiful countries in the world. I also enjoy driving very much and have travelled across Europe driving quite a lot. I enjoy snooker pool and darts when socialising, but most important to me is the time and spend with my wife and two grown up children. Who am I and why choose me? I am Sam 51 years young and looking for a new chapter in my work life. I have lots of skills to offer but I also pick things up very quickly, you are never too old to learn! I want a new challenge and given the opportunity will prove my worth to any employer.
