My name is Ryan Botha, a UX and Service Design specialist at Nedbank, one of South Africa's main banks.
I have a wealth of UX, web design, and UI design experience from working on projects ranging from an online pizza delivery to banking apps. All this while working closely with developers and product managers in Agile driven teams.
Solving design problems brings me great satisfaction. Over the past four years, I have helped two banks improve their customers' experiences on their banking platforms. The part that I have found the most rewarding was helping my team refine methods to improve their UX processes.
I led the user experience design at Absa and helped launch a new version of the their transactional app. I worked collaboratively with the product and dev teams to ensure that our team was able to deliver as it scaled up. We were fortunate to follow a human-centered design approach and made improvements to the experience with each iteration.
