This project focuses on effectively handling all aspects of logistics operations for Echo Logistics,
ensuring seamless communication and efficient management of critical tasks including calls,
emails, pickup requests, shipment status updates, rate confirmations, invoice processing, and
booking shipment management.
Key Responsibilities:
Communication Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for all inbound and outbound communications related to
logistics operations.
- Efficiently manage calls and emails from clients, carriers, and internal stakeholders to address
inquiries, resolve issues, and provide updates.
Pickup Requests and Booking Management:
- Coordinate pickup requests from clients and ensure timely scheduling with carriers.
- Manage booking of shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to scheduling
requirements.
Shipment Status Updates:
- Monitor and track the status of shipments throughout the transportation process.
- Provide real-time updates to clients regarding shipment location, estimated arrival times, and
any potential delays.
Rate Confirmation and Invoice Processing:
- Confirm shipping rates with carriers and clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with
contractual agreements.
- Process invoices promptly and accurately, verifying billing details and resolving discrepancies
as needed.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by delivering exceptional service and
addressing their logistics needs proactively.
- Collaborate closely with sales and account management teams to identify opportunities for
service enhancement and client satisfaction.
Data Management and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive records of all logistics activities, ensuring BOL and data accuracy and
completeness.
- Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery rates,
cost efficiency, and client satisfaction metrics.
Skills:
Logistics Expertise: Deep understanding of logistics processes, including transportation modes,
shipping regulations, and industry best practices.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact
with clients, carriers, and internal teams.
Organizational Skills: Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously,
and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
