Hello.
I feel that my combination of formal education and life/work experience meet what a great career requires. I have an up-to-date desk-top computer that is hard-wired to the internet.
During my time working towards my 4-year business degree, I would say I learned some very valuable qualities – Self-discipline, analytical skills, and the ability to multi-task and think in a “critical manner.”
My first job began in high school, at Wood College. I was a computer lab assistant. I learned Microsoft Office software both on the job and when taking college-required computer courses. My job at Wood College involved assisting my supervisor(a college professor) in helping students with class work, making copies of exams, completing various computer-related tasks, and marking student papers/exams. My second job was night auditor at Holiday Inn Express in Starkville, MS. In that job, I made reservations, checked in/out clients, completed night audit reports, and handled customer-service related issues as required. Next, I started working for my brother using a spreadsheet to create customized invoices to end customers. I am still working for him. Finally, I learned the Ebay selling system and have enjoyed that endeavor very much!!
