I was responsible for:
• Advocating for the welfare of orphaned children.
• Coaching children to meet their goals, do well in school and live well with families
• Help vulnerable children and adolescents gain stability by ensuring they have access
to medical care, food, vocational training and education.
• Promoting family life by helping children live with family members instead of an
institutional setting whenever possible.
• Assisting children living with HIV/ AIDS by ensuring they get good health care,
nutritional support, and monitoring their progress as they attend their routine clinics.

needs.
• Analysing and verifying the clients’ needs and refer to the most appropriate Love INC
partner church, church volunteer, agency, and/or faith-based organization to provide
resources, programs, or services that address the specific needs.
• Following up with the clients and volunteer or ministries that provided the assistance.
• Visiting the clients and training them on how to maximize on their gifts and talents so
as to earn a living to avoid dependency.
• Tracking the progress and outcome of needy clients and report to the church for
action.
Key achievements include:
• Participated in organizing the annual Love INC Karengata Zone conference at
Christian Organizations Research and Advisory Trust for Africa (CORAT) in Karen
where over 12 partner churches attended.
• Over 15 households in Karengata zone were empowered and given basic necessities.

• Training of stakeholders on strategies for education for sustainable development.
• Review and approval of proposals for eco-friendly projects, for example biogas which

• Participated in the development of environmental education packs for primary and
secondary students.
• Participated in promoting of compliance assistance efforts for resource efficiency and
cleaner production in enterprises for Kenya National Cleaner Production Centre
(KNCPC) and NEMA.
• Participated in development of a social media policy for NEMA.
• Assisted in planning of Regional Centre of Expertise (RCE) Conference for promotion
of sustainable development.
• Participated in Adopt a River Project which involved awareness creation on the
importance of river ecosystems in learning institutions.
• Participated in the training of Isiolo County Education Board on strategies for
education for sustainable development.
