Duties include active network scanning and network/systems security resolution. Primary task currently is developing a center wide comprehensive Continuity/Disaster Recovery Plan and developing Service Level Agreements or Memorandums of Understanding for specific application support between CDRH and the FDA Office of Systems Management.

Owner/Operator/Developer/Designer – Duties include maintaining and administering two Windows2000 Servers running IIS and SQL2000 services hosting web services and email services for a dozen clients in the small business arena. Maintain a Watchguard Firebox firewall for my office network. I have been working as a free-lance systems consultant, website and internet application developer/administrator. Building on a Microsoft 2000 Server platform with IIS, MS Index Server with MS SQL 2000 and MS Access as data repositories, and utilizing HTML, Active Server Pages(ASP), and ASP.NET to build the user interfaces and administrative resources. I have developed sites for real estate partnerships (www.buzzbuzz.com and www.mytavistock.com), high tech hardware and chipset manufacturers (www.asc.com and www.cognio.com), healthcare brokers (www.compdesignco.com) and aviation industry consultants (www.jda-aviation.com). All but the CompDesignCo site were dynamic websites based around the concept of content self-maintenance. I have been studying and done some JSP programming working with a site I developed for an auto-parts distributor ThePartsCart (www.thepartscart.com). This was a shopping cart integration with a third party API accessing a wholesale warehouse facility inventory and ordering system for foreign autoparts.

NCSHPO on contract to National Park Service 2/93 – 11/95
Publication Distribution Manager (National Register of Historic Places) and LAN/Desktop Support Administrator – Maintained day to day desktop(WIN3.11) and LAN (bridged Unix and Netware 3.X environment) operations for a 70 employee department of the National Park Service. Ran the public outreach and research desk of the National Register Archive.
