Etherpay June 2012 - November 2013 Founding Partner Managed the establishment of a technology start-up company which is a specialist provider of digital payment, card-less loyalty and virtual wallet infrastructure technologies. Worked with development partners and launch partner clients. Formalised the company structure, kicking-off development and securing funding. DNA Design February 2012 – May 2012 Senior Digital Project Manager Project lead on the first major phase of a very large web and mobile project for a major global telecommunications company. Managed the process of envisioning and development of a new strategic direction for the future and medium - term versions of both local and global implementations of the brands’ online presence, across multiple platforms. Set up a long-term project plan with a requirement for agile project management, and the coordination of interdependent deliverables. Cost-tracking across multiple vendor agencies. As the lead agency we have direct responsibility to the client and in managing a large budget and expectations to executive level. Key processes were strategic development, conceptual IA, technical planning, detailed IA and moving into interface design, with both local and global testing and signoff processes. Go-Listen, Ethermedia February 2010 – January 2012 Partner & Director Project management, business administration and product development for Muller Montgomerie Media on our Go-Listen and Ethermedia technology projects in conjunction with various partners. Spent 12 weeks in contract roles for DDB Tribal and TBWA Tequila. Ethermedia December 2009 – January 2010 Technical Director Co-founded a start-up technology company which until mid-2009 had been part time. For the last few weeks of 2009 this project required my full time focus with regards to development and positioning for the launch of technologies into overseas markets. Project managed the development of the Ethermedia software / technology project. Managed the day-to-day affairs of the company, instrumental in the process of patent filing, securing of investors for both expertise and capital, along with strategic planning regarding development and roll-out. Whybin TBWA Digital December 2009 – January 2010 Senior Digital Producer Spent one month covering leave in the role of Senior Interactive Producer at Whybin TBWA Digital & Shift managing ongoing digital projects. Rural Trader October 2009 – December 2009 Digital Project Manager I was asked to project manage a web development project which was encountering some timing and scheduling challenges. Part-time role to assist in bringing a major web development project back on track after it had run over-time and over-budget in a number of areas. Mitigated risks while ensuring a timely deployment of major new functional components. ICE Interactive 2009 Senior Digital Producer Established SEO/SEM offering and required one for their clients. Drawing from my experience and knowledge in this area having worked with Saatchi Optimise I was able to put together a very comprehensive SEO/SEM reference package encompassing a full framework including associated documentation covering SEO/SEM auditing, implementation, reporting and ongoing management plans. Project managed some key projects and developed a proper project management structure to be used going forward. Ethermedia 2009 Technical Director Full time focus while key aspects of development and strategy were completed. For the remainder of 2009 the Ethermedia project was my focus between contract roles. Aim Proximity December 2008 Interactive Producer Worked on Ethermedia and other various technology projects. Took on a month-long contract role as an Interactive Producer at Aim Proximity in November which required me to manage a number of small medium and large jobs during the absence of another Interactive Producer. Saatchi & Saatchi May 2006 – October 2008 Senior Interactive Producer Initial role was to manage the transition of existing content and the development and writing of new content from a phase one version of a large retail e-commerce website to an even more comprehensive phase two version of that website. Coordinated the work of a large number of internal and external resources, while keeping to project milestones and deadlines. Transferred into a full time Interactive Producer role from August 2006 until October 2008. Managed twenty or more live jobs at any one time. Experience in producing a large number of jobs while being able to manage workloads and meet delivery deadlines under pressure. Key accounts I worked on during my time at Saatchi & Saatchi included Westpac, Toyota, Lexus, NZ Army, Inland Revenue, Contact Energy, New World, Emirates, NZ Post, Kiwibank, Ferrit, Sealord, DB and TVNZ. I was the main Interactive Producer for all of our Wellington based accounts which required me to make frequent trips to the capital. Worked on a wide range of project types including: Banner campaigns, HTML email campaigns, Websites, Microsites, Intranets, Extranets, Flash sites– From small Microsites to large projects, including a large multi-game site, SMS, Bluetooth & WAP campaigns and Emerging technologies. Website work ranged from simple static HTML sites to major re-skins and digital re-brandings to Flash websites and large website undertakings from scratch. Experience in wire framing and the writing of functional specifications. I am used to managing projects involving large numbers of internal and external resources on large and small projects. Worked on a number of internal Saatchi Worldwide projects and some pro-active awards jobs for various clients. de Montgomerie Design June 2005 – April 2006 Interactive Designer & Project Manager I worked as a freelance designer, under my own brand; de Montgomerie Design. This involved a wide variety of projects ranging from interactive presentations and CD Roms, to major brand websites (Ferrari). Additionally, I production managed some larger web-based developments which required the management of a team of people on multiple projects for a number of months. AAV New Zealand January 2004 – June 2005 DVD Authoring & Digital Video Compression I was employed by AAV New Zealand in the role of New Media Operations involving video compression and the authoring of DVD’s, plus graphic design for menu design and often also for the design of disc label artwork. A large degree of client interaction in determining the scope and scale of projects and the best manner in which to achieve client objectives. This position also involved compression of video and audio into other file types for various uses by a large number of clients who were primarily film and television production companies, advertising agencies, record companies and television stations. CanWest MediaWorks New Zealand January 2003 – December 2003 Interactive Designer & Developer I was employed by CanWest New Zealand in the capacity of New Media and Graphic Designer. Most of my time was spent working for the More FM and Channel Z brands. I developed and maintained web sites, components and graphical content of: TV3, C4, The Breeze, Lite FM, The Edge and The Rock web sites. My responsibilities included graphic design for print and web coding. Worked extensively with both internal and external clients and other developers in planning solutions to best suit the clients’ needs, for both interactive and print based projects. I designed and developed of web sites from scratch and re-development of existing web sites. This role required the management of a heavy workload which demanded highly efficient time use, management and planning skills.
