I am a highly motivated professional who has thrived in the International School industry from 1993.
Within that context I have occupied every imaginable position and I am now the Head of Morgan International Community school. My content-base allows me to design curriculla in the Literature and Language areas, I superintend over the rest of the teachers teaching and student learning and lead periodic professional development sessions. These are cross-cutting as they include 21st Century skills like critical thinking, confidence building and collaboration and also leadership and issues revolving around social intervention.
My passions include blogging, cycling and cooking. Blogging on Facebook in particular helps the creation of my learning community where I share content on detailed observations I make across social, natural and cultural phenomena. In the process I have built a huge network of friends who have lots of common denominators. Cycling is essentially the outdoor action that gets me exploring my locality and other outlying places and also has an attraction of like-minded cyclists who participate to socialize and to build fitness. Interestingly, cooking relaxes me stirs my creative juices and gives me a sense of cultural competence as I am able to cook exotic dishes. I think of it as a mini project from sourcing the items from supermarket stalls and the market through to food styling and service which again revolves around people. I love the satisfaction we all get after a hearty meal.
My life revolves around formulating ideas and intellectual scholarship, socializing - which widens my professional and social network and finally pastimes which keep my humanity.
