Hi, I’m Rica Gil. I’ve worked as a Support Team Manager, where I led a team of 14 people and handled daily operations, training, and customer support. My role involved everything from coaching and performance feedback to problem-solving and improving workflows. I’ve always enjoyed helping people, staying organized, and creating a positive team environment.
In my previous role, I focused on building strong communication across the team and making sure our service was consistent and customer-focused. I worked closely with other departments to resolve escalations, track performance metrics, and ensure we met our targets. I’m someone who stays calm under pressure, and I take pride in leading by example.
What drives me is simple: I enjoy seeing people succeed — whether that’s a customer having a great experience or a team member reaching their next goal. I believe good leadership is about listening, being clear, and supporting others to do their best work.
Outside of work, I’m passionate about food, travel, and books. I love discovering new places to eat, exploring different cultures, and getting lost in a good story. I believe that travel teaches flexibility, food brings people together, and reading keeps you open-minded — all of which translate into valuable soft skills in any professional setting.
I bring that same curiosity and attention to detail into my work. Whether I’m reviewing reports, writing documentation, or mentoring a team member, I’m always looking for ways to do things better. I value feedback, enjoy learning new tools or systems, and I’m not afraid to ask questions.
Right now, I’m looking for a new opportunity where I can continue to grow and contribute — ideally in a role that values people, process, and continuous improvement. I enjoy being part of a team that works hard but also knows how to support each other and celebrate wins, big or small.
