Warrior Care and Transition’s Army Trials, 26 March – 07 April 2017
Be on the lookout!
The Warrior Care and Transition’s (WCT) Army Trials provide a unique platform to communicate U.S. Army
Ready and Resilient capabilities, training, and resources, as they relate to the U.S. Army’s wounded, ill, and
injured population. ARD STRATCOM goal is to write articles regarding the following, so please be mindful of the
following opportunities:
•
•
Profiles of Resilience- Video/Photo/Print profiles of individuals or teams who have a personal or
professional story of resilience. Profiles may highlight stories of tragedy followed by growth, or
challenges followed by success, etc.
Performance Training- Performance Training techniques taught to individuals and teams, to include
training applied to Adaptive Sport or Reconditioning Activities, transition (to include Phase II Goal
Setting), or the daily lives of Soldiers, to include the wounded, ill and injured population and their
Families.
Media
Inform Becky Farmer of any media contact as soon as practical. Include the 5Ws and the name, contact, and
outlet of the reporter, as well as the expected publish/air date of the story.

As MRT-PEs, you should never be the focus of an article. If approached by media, please take a moment
to include an athlete in the interview.
Any commentary you provide pertains to your area of expertise, within the context of performance and
resilience training and Soldier Transition.
Contractors are not able to speak on behalf of the Army – refer anything involving the Army’s opinion to
your nearest Army Civilian or green-suiter – best case would be referring media to an athlete or Family
member/caregiver who has reaped the benefits of resilience and performance training
