I joined a Petroleum Marketing company that was specialized in retail marketing of Petroleum Products throughout India. We were the best marketers in the county in terms of per pump sales. We also were the best dealer selection and training company that brought this glory. We were the smallest company and yet the most challenging organization. From a field level officer, I rose to the Boar of that company in 30 years. Within the Organisation, I went on secondment to a subsidiary company and started a Container Leasing company that rented its containers to railways and road transports and thus emerged as the first company to start the movement of goods in a container that is safe and secure. Later I persuaded the Indian Railways to use a container to speedy transportation between cities and regions. Thereafter I left for joining an LGP Company that came to India after the country opened up for foreign Investments and was the CEO for 5 years. The foreign company possessed expertise in building a shore terminal for the import of LPG through the installation of a pipeline under the sea. Thereafter I joined Essar Oil Limited who were at that time installing a refinery before which they wanted to install retail network and import petroleum products for sale in India. I was the Chief Operating Officer in charge of developing the entire Southern Region of the Country. After leaving that company, I began to help farmers by a model that I designed for them to pool their lads and enjoining them with entrepreneurs and conduct farming on a cooperative basis.
