SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS
National Beverage Corp. (Shasta)
• Took over production scheduling duties from retiring scheduler without personal prior experience in the
soda manufacturing industry and performed the duties without help from manuals, procedures, and
software tools. Rapidly learned retiring scheduler’s methods and worked with Shasta’s in-house systems
regarding inventory, open orders, and material purchase orders. Within a week, developed improved
workflows and designed data connections into spreadsheets which automated about 50% of the work that
was previously completed manually.
• Developed new tools and reports to improve scheduling, enhanced accuracy of finished goods/raw
materials forecasts by analyzing seasonal and promotional factors.
• Revamped material ordering sheets to keep stocks lean and re-allocated the scarce warehouse space to
finished goods; reducing shortage risks.
• Collaborated remotely with corporate supply chain managers to improve visibility of demands nationwide
and help coordinate more efficient stock transfers between plants.
• Formulated improved spreadsheets for human resources (HR) that calculated current and projected paid
time off and sick time automatically and accurately.
• Created automated dashboards and scorecards for sales that saved roughly 20 man-hours per week and
eliminated errors.

Created an app within one month that generated a production report in only minutes which helped
prioritize the products to make; effectively eliminating the need for a full-time person to manually work
on this production report. Previously, during their busiest season, it took 6 people between 10-14 hours
per day to create the production report. Now with the new app, only 1 of the office personnel are required
part-time to generate the necessary production reports.
Updated many spreadsheets used over the years to coordinate production personnel, automated complex
kit building calculations and provided visibility into sales.
Connected together their various data sets and loaded them into data models for easier reporting, created
automated dashboards and scorecards for customer service saving 2-4 man hours per week, and ran
analysis with insights not present before.
