My interest in marketing comes from the understanding that there is power in communication. I am constantly fascinated by how different strategies and methods can engage and influence the actions and buying patterns of diverse demographics. The marketing industry is known to be a diverse one and fast-changing with trends which is quite challenging yet, exciting for me. Having graduated from the Department of Business Administration at the University of Lagos with a Second Class Upper, I sought to delve deeper into the world of Brand marketing, Digital marketing, and Communications by enrolling in my master’s degree program in Advertising and Marketing. I was also opportune to be one of the Udacity scholars in the Advance Africa Scholarship Program to receive a Nano-degree in Digital marketing. This has equipped me with a bit of practical and relatable experience, and also provided me with the adequate skills required to be a successful and result-oriented ambassador for your prestigious brand. With my previous employer, I demonstrated a comprehensive understanding of both B2B and B2C marketing, maximized advertising efforts by developing content for email marketing, articles, and social media posts, and provided insight through proper analysis in the development of campaigns scheduled for product offerings which have helped create a good customer relationship with the brand as well as generate fresh interest for the company. Excellent communication, commitment to functional teamwork, good product knowledge, and proper attention to detail are important skills I have acquired in my past roles.
