Ritchie Academy Portal Build On Softr
Watch video here
I’m sharing a short video walkthrough of one of my recent projects to give you a
clear picture of how I build and structure web applications.
This project is called Ritchie Academy. It’s important to note that Ritchie
Academy is a dummy brand, and all the data used on the platform is completely
fictitious. I created this specifically for portfolio and demonstration purposes, as
most of my real clients do not allow their data, systems, or internal processes to
be shared publicly.
About the Project
Ritchie Academy is designed as an online learning platform where people can
learn practical digital skills they need to work with clients, offer services, and
grow professionally online. The platform structure reflects how a real-world
course or membership-based website would function.
How the Platform Was Built
For this build, I handled the full setup end to end:
Frontend: Built with Softr for a clean, responsive user experience
Backend: Airtable is used as the database, where:
All form submissions are stored
User and course data are managed
The frontend pulls its content dynamically
Design: Course thumbnails and visuals were created using Canva
Payments: Integrated with Paystack
This setup can also be connected to Stripe, Wise, or other payment platforms,
depending on what a client needs
All interactions on the website flow into Airtable, which acts as the central source
of truth for both the frontend content and user data.
Why I’m Sharing This
Although the brand and data are not real, the logic, integrations, and structure
are exactly how I build for real clients. This project shows how I approach:
System setup and database design
No-code tool integration
Building scalable, client-ready platforms
I’ve attached the video walkthrough so you can see how everything works in
practice. If you’d like me to explain any part of the build in more detail or discuss
how this could be adapted for your own project, I’d be happy to do that.
Thank you for taking the time to review this.
