donor-funded projects, including US State Department, USAID, DFID, and UNDP. Possess strong
leadership, team-building, and organizational abilities.
Working country experience includes Indonesia, Afghanistan and Turkey.
Nurhayati has worked extensively with several USAID-funded programs in Afghanistan and Indonesia in
senior positions including Grant Director, Finance and Administration Director, Finance and Operations

Partnership (IWDP) Initiatives, Jakarta, Indonesia - (February 2017 – March 2017)
Review and revise Grants Manual for GUCs Implementation & Grants Implementation Manual for
Grantees, conduct a pre-award assessment of each candidate grantee and Provide guidance to the Chief
of Party regarding the most appropriate grant award type and funding mechanism. IWDP is a USAIDfunded program that promote more inclusive economic growth by improving access to workforce and
entrepreneurial skills for poor and vulnerable youth for the total grants of amout of US$ 8 million.
Director of Grants, DAI Global, LLC for Civil Society in Syria Program (CSSP), Gaziantep, Turkey (January 2016 – October 2016)
Responsible for: leading the development and implementation of grants; reconciling and, if need be, de conflicting of grant development and implementation functions; and successful management of grant
activities using DAI Grant database management to ensure grants management records are uploaded
into the grant management system (TAMIS). CSSP is a project funded by US State Department for the Civil
Society in Syria for the total amount of US$6.5 million.

Provided assistance and support on Lotus Notes based TAMIS that includes TAMIS online training,
perform group or one-on-one training for project staff, develop capacity within projects to address their
training needs using Skype technologies; facilitate system functional requirements gathering for projects
and communicate the requirements to the TAMIS; provide user support and troubleshooting of urgent
issues; draft user guides for new TAMIS features, ensure guides are complete and correct. Train field
users. During this period she supported three projects below:
Regional Afghan Municipalities Program for Urban Populations (RAMP UP North), USAID,
Afghanistan - (June 2011- March 2012) - Customized the RAMP UP North TAMIS and trained the staff.
Burundi Agribusiness Program (BAP), USAID, Burundi - (September 2011- December 2011) Customized the grants module for BAP TAMIS to provide management the ability to efficiently manage
grants activities of BAP.
Regional Afghan Municipalities Program for Urban Populations (RAMP UP West), USAID,
Afghanistan - (June 2011- October 2011) - Trained RAMP UP West’s staff on TAMIS database and to
provide on-line support to resolve TAMIS issues.

Provided services on closing out the remaining three grants in Timika, West Papua, reviewed AMARTA

Subcontract/Grant Manager. Responsible for the overall management of project subcontract and
grant funds for total amount of $2,825,000 by collaborating with USAID to define subcontract/grant
mechanisms, disseminating funding opportunities, receiving proposals, establishing a review panel,
organizing the review process and cost negotiation, determining the winners and award process,
facilitating development and implementation of the grant, and monitoring and evaluating grantee
activities. Ensure technical excellence and financial accountability of grantees and subcontractors.
Operations Manager. Assisted the Chief of Party in all matters of program and financial
administration, including recruitment, procurement, inventory, and budget. Supervised Jakarta
Office Manager and Senior Accountant.

Indonesia - (November 2004–April 2007).
Responsible for Project Administration including designing standard operating procedures (HR and
Operational manual), Human Resources and recruitment, project procurement of goods and services.
Managed all matters relating subcontractors. Managed and supervised ESP’s procurement. Managed and
supervised program’s Technical and Administrative Management Information System (TAMIS) database
information. Trained ESP staff on using TAMIS. Supervised the project network administrators, office
