I have been running the coordinating department for the past 3 years now. I receive the communication from the company or department that is looking for the venue and their specific requirements, do the quotation, receive the confirmation and do the invoice after that. In prepation for the event, I have do the grocery list and go buy, order meat, get the casuals to prepare and setup. Everything is time managed, and communication with every department and relevant custodians is key. Every event is not the same, so crisis management is also key.
