Techno Sat Comm (India) Pvt Ltd, Mumbai – 13 May 13 to 28 Feb 15
A. Joined as Vice President (Tech). During my tenure I established the nascent
technical department of this Systems Integrator, who were aspiring to bid for
various Metro rail projects across India and even abroad, after having
demonstrated WiFi-over-Satellite on a moving train using marine satellite
technology adapted for railways.
B. I expanded the technical department managing the entire recruitment process
right from identifying the correct manpower requirement based upon long- &
short-term projections; defining qualifications, deciding wage bills, conducting
the final interview and finalising the intake; in close co-ordination with the HR
personnel.
C. I further established Standard Operating Procedures for onboarding new
inductions; evaluating performances; conducting appraisals at regular
scheduled intervals; advising increments as well as recommending incentives
to the Accounts department.
D. I organised the technical department into four verticals based on the
Company’s marketing plan – viz. Surveillance (CCTV); Wireless Coverage
(WIFI); Internet of Things (RFID) and Internet Protocol based Public
Addressing systems (IPPA)
E. My (technical) team organised regular, scheduled, as well as per-requirement
training, to familiarise the marketing team of the Company’s products and

services portfolio; as well as supported them by accompanying them on client
visits and organising demos for clients under their direction. We also devised
and conducted technical feasibility studies and surveys for inquiries
generated by the Marketing team.
F. Under my lead, my team also prepared the technical bids for the various
tenders which the Company participated in for Metros, Railways and other
infra-structure projects. To this end, close contacts were established with
various vendors.
G. The Company entrusted me with inspections of vendor manufacturing
facilities abroad specifically I visited Malaysia, Hong Kong and China for IPPA
