Worked onboard merchant navy vessels for 11 years of which sailing time of 5.5 years.
Worked ashore variously with a contractor setting up mobile networks across Mumbai, India for different operators; the Bell South telephone company, U. S. A.'s DSL Internet divisions technical helpdesk; and as a field technicial for Globe Wireless Inc attending ships around the world.
Was laid off when Globe Wireless was sold to Inmarsat LLC.
