Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience in sourcing processes, supply chain
management, product development, Amazon marketplace and Customer care. Working in the
shoe manufacturing industry during the initial stages of my career allowed me to develop a deep
understanding of the sourcing and manufacturing processes involved in bringing products to market.
As Head of Imports & Research and Development Department, I was responsible for managing a team
of over 30 individuals, developing 300 plus new samples for each season and overseeing the entire
import process, from sourcing raw materials to coordinating logistics and ensuring timely delivery.
I also worked closely with teams in China to ensure smooth operations and maintain quality control
standards & efficient sampling processes.
However, my deep rooted passion for e-commerce and specifically Amazon led me to make a career
shift. Though being previously trained, I sought out a mentor who was a successful 7-figure Amazon
seller and spent over a year learning the ins and outs of selling on the platform. During this time, I also
provided Amazon virtual assistance & agency services, helping other sellers optimize their listings,
planning launching strategies, manage inventory, and increase sales.
I then joined a company based in the UK as a Senior Ecommerce manager, where I was responsible for
managing accounts and overseeing their Ecommerce strategies. One of my notable achievements was
successfully developing & launching a product from scratch and getting it accepted into the Amazon
Launchpad program, which provided valuable exposure and marketing support.
In addition to my responsibilities, I also onboarded, mentored, and trained new employees, sharing my
knowledge and expertise to help them navigate the complexities of selling on Ecommerce and Lifestyle
management.
Overall, my experience in the shoe manufacturing industry, coupled with my expertise in Amazon
selling, has equipped me with a unique skill set that allows me to effectively manage product
