I have 15 years experience working in a COBOL IBM Mainframe environment. For many of those years I was a hands on project lead. The the Risk Processing System is an example of the projects I worked on. In that project I organized and planned the project, designed the transaction flow, file structures, user interface and interfaces with existing accounting systems, optimized programming code for efficiency and clarity, implemented all user changes to original design and was responsible for quality assurance of all the programs in the system and for the system as a whole, including 70 new programs and 20 existing programs written in COBOL and COBOL/CICS.

Another project that I led was the development of the Inventory Network and Control System. This was a logistics system that kept track of inventory and deliveries throughout the country. I developed and extensive user interface, wrote the Functional Requirements Specification, planned and staffed project and finally, supervised all phases of the project including system design, development, system testing, user training, installation and post production follow up.

My experience includes a diverse set of business system skills. I developed systems in the following fileds: reinsurance, insurance, logistics, billing, utilities such as recovery and more.
