Mohan U Naidu

My expertise includes program and project management, software delivery management, client relationship management, establishing and sustaining PMO offices, and leadership development in the last 20+ years in India, Singapore, Hong Kong, and the US in the Information Technology and Energy industry. I started my career in 1994 in Pune, India as a social entrepreneur in the education space and joined Kanbay Software Pvt. Ltd. in 2001 as a Process Engineer. After the successful implementation of ISO 9001:2000 certification and CMM Level 5 assessment for Kanbay offices in India, the US and Australia, I was handpicked by the leadership team to relocate and replicate the success in Kanbay’s newest offshore development center in Hyderabad. With successful implementation and institutionalization of the software delivery process, Kanbay launched a new service offering in the Process Consulting space. In 2004, I relocated to Singapore and Hong Kong to deliver IT process consulting engagements for our clients in the banking industry. In 2005, I relocated to the US to lead the process consulting division. As a management consultant, I successfully delivered several performance transformation consulting engagements, providing process improvement consulting services to clients in business domains ranging from banking, insurance, credit cards, retail, IT services, and Energy in the Asia Pacific and North America region. The list of clients includes HSBC, DBS, TD Bank, TransUnion, Loblaw Companies, Devon Energy, and many more. As the PMI-REP president for Capgemini USA, I trained employees to get their PMP certification. I also served as an adjunct professor teaching Project Management at Oklahoma City University on behalf of the local PMI chapter. In 2010, I joined an Oil & Gas company in Oklahoma City, USA. As a Program Manager, I managed several strategic and large-scale programs ($20mn to $50mn budgets) such as ERP implementation, automation of oil fields, and redesign of enterprise portfolio management processes. After a global experience of over 20 years, living and working in the US for over 12 years, I went on a sabbatical in 2017. I relocated to India to pursue my passion outside of the corporate world. I have been working in the field of education and have authored a book. After creating and implementing a learning framework and capturing my work in my book, I am at a point of inflection and want to get back to the corporate world. I am a US citizen, currently living in Hyderabad with my family.
