Mohammad Zekeria Hemat

I have diverse background in humanitarian work, specifically focusing on community engagement, mobilization, and distribution of cash assistance. In my current role as a CCCM Community Mobilizer for part time with IOM, I am responsible for organizing assessments, focus group discussions, awareness campaigns, and community engagement activities at the site level. I paly a key role in mobilizing communities for assistance distribution, mainly specifying the most vulnerable group in the community. Moreover, I conduct multi-sectoral needs assessments, service providing monitoring and evaluating CCCM project implementation in the communities.   In my recent role as an FSL Assistant with Save the Children, I played a key role in mapping target areas, beneficiaries identification and verification, designing mobilization procedures, and coordinating cash transfer activities. I have a proven track record of facilitating successful community mobilization strategies, supporting capacity building initiatives, and contributing to the selection of project implementation sites. Prior to this, as mobilization assistant with Save the Children International on Save Italy project, I organized and motivated target beneficiaries, collaborated with teams, and actively participated in community assessments. My responsibilities extended to supporting the selection of project sites and beneficiaries for cash in Mosayee district of Kabul province. My earlier experience as a social organizer with Swedish Committee for Afghanistan showcases my commitment to community engagement and project management mainly developing and aware people in education sector. Moreover, I actively promoted team spirit, conducted awareness sessions, and supervise project implementation progress. My role was mainly involved mobilizing local communities, fostering cooperation with various stakeholders and collecting essential baseline data. In summary, my experience underscores a comprehensive understanding of community mobilization, needs assessments, and project implementation, distributing cash assistance to vulnerable people; it makes me voluble candidate for the roles involving cash and livelihood programs.
