I am a highly organized and self-driven individual, passionate about developing my career in the field of Accounting as a General Ledger Specialist. My commitment can be gauged from the fact that I am an accredited holder of a Bachelor's degree with Financial Management as specialization from Tarlac State University.

Possessing more than 10 years of experience of working in diverse financial positions with multiple companies, I have gained an extensive insight within this field. My key accounting and financial competencies include, but are not limited to, maintaining financial records, managing budgets, risk assessments and business strategy reviews.

In my current position with Synnex Concentrix-Concentrix Services Corporation where I work in the capacity of General Ledger Specialist, I am accountable for:
● Responsible for preparing Journal Entries, collect adequate supporting documentation and post to ledger
● Confirming all standard routine journal interfaces and adjustments processed prior to performing preliminary general ledger close
● Reconciling Accounts including intercompany and bank reconciliations
● Preparing flux comments and analysis
● Resolving outstanding accounting issues and escalate queries
● Building credibility and establish a good working relationship with respective colleagues within the county in scope
● Proposing amendments to accounting procedures when necessary as a result of change in policy
● Ensuring adherence to deadlines, especially at month end
● Additional tasks includes statutory reporting (audit, etc.) and getting involved in various projects aimed at improving processes
● Ad-hoc activities as assigned by Immediate Supervisor
During the course of my career, I have gained a specialist’s understanding of financial instruments and accounting software and have also been effective in explaining complex information in a comprehensible manner.

I am an accomplished communicator, with excellent organizational, decision making, and time management skills and have a proven track record of consistently meeting and regularly surpassing demanding performance goals.
