Michelle Nduku Ngei

I am a freelancer who is looking to work for a company where I will be able to offer my services while also getting to broaden my knowledge and have career growth.

In University I studied Business Management but later majored in Human Resource Management. I did Business Management because I did not want to only concentrate on one course only. I wanted to be able to have broad knowledge from all forms of business courses which will come in handy when I want to start my own business or company in the future.

I started off my career at a software company where I was first employed as a Sales Executive and later promoted to the rank of a Human Resource Officer. I worked there for 3 years then later moved to an apparel company at the Kenya Export Processing Zones. At first, I was employed as a Personal Assistant to the Human Resource General Manager but was later moved to the Finance department after the General Manager resigned and went back to Sri Lanka. Thereafter, I got another job where I was employed as a Customer Service Consultant in August 2020 and worked until December 2020, when the contract ended.

Working in all these departments and companies in different sectors (Software Development and Manufacturing) has enabled me to expand my knowledge in so many ways, especially when I joined the Finance Department. I got to know how to work with QuickBooks, how to balance the company books at the end of month report and many more.

I am self-driven, patient, and can work perfectly under minimal supervision. I always give my customers my first priority, and above all pay attention to details. I have no problem working extra hours until all my tasks are completed.

I am also the founder of PinkforSheila Cancer Foundation. I started the foundation after I lost my sister to Breast Cancer. The main role of the foundation is to create awareness of cancer while also offering emotional and financial consultations to cancer patients.

My motto is to solve problems while also exceeding the customer's expectations.
