·   Work with functional business leaders and help develop capability roadmap for Sales & Channel functions

·   Functional & Process Architect and solution design using technologies like Anaplan, Salesforce.com, SAP etc

·   Build proofs-of-concept (POC) for potential new solutions and technologies

·   Able to lead our team through investigations and workshops.

·   Experience in full SDLC (Agile, Scrum) cycle in general and specific to user requirements gathering, user stories, narratives, product/scrum backlog, sprint planning, backlog grooming, Use Case design and analysis, Scenarios, Business processes, MS Visio, Power Point presentation, process flows, wireframes, technical documentation, QA, QC and UAT activities.

·   Work closely with Sales & Channel operations teams to understand business requirements and then partner closely with IT development team for creation of functional and technical specifications document

·   Evaluate business and technical opportunities for joint development for building end to end technical solution

·   Accountable for driving timely delivery of functional deliverables for projects in roadmap

·   Key contributor in cross-functional teams, Business Requirement review, development plans, and roadmap development

·   Create and present functional and technical design including data analysis to business team, and gather feedback to influence solution design and approach

·   Lead Collaboration Projects through the VMware IT Standard Development Lifecycle

·   Perform fit gap analysis: as is vs. to be

·   Writing and reviewing test scripts

·   Formalize the approach, objectives and deliverables.

·   Assist with planning and executing workshops with end users to better understand the future state and high level requirements.

·   Consider existing issues and limitations to determine options for future design.

·   The main output will be to create a high-level solution design and target state architecture document that will be used to plan the development and implementation phases of the project.

·   And lastly, that the candidate understands the fundamentals of the insurance policy administration life cycle - rate, quote and issue and has demonstrated experience with the process.

·   Preparation of user documentation and training documentation as necessary
