My name is Elisabet Mia Helena, though usually go by Mia. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature for Translation from Indonesia Open University of Yogyakarta (UT), which I completed between 2015 and 2019. Since graduating, I’ve built practical experience in education, content development, customer service, and administration through various roles that have sharpened both my hard and soft skills.
I began my career with an internship at Lister from March to June 2021 as a Curriculum Specialist. In this role, I was responsible for creating and revising IELTS modules, textbooks, and other learning materials to support tutors. I also conducted primary research to source appropriate resources that could effectively improve students’ learning outcomes based on the curriculum.
Following that, I joined Arkademi as a Customer Relation intern from August 2021 to April 2022. My daily tasks involved replying to and resolving customer inquiries, signing up new customers, retrieving and managing customer data, and presenting relevant product information. I handled complaints professionally by offering suitable solutions and alternatives. Throughout my time there, I maintained an average 90% customer satisfaction rating. One of my proudest moments was being recognized as Top Player of The Month in 2022 according to Arkademi’s Monthly Scorecard and Progress. I also had the opportunity to train two new interns on using communication channels, entering customer data, and organizing logs.
In June 2022, I took on a contract position as Academic Staff at YEC Learning Center until January 2023. Here, I conducted research for suitable learning materials, wrote scripts and quizzes for educational videos, created and revised quizzes, scoring guides, and updated learning content on the website. I also recorded and edited audio materials for English texts.
Since June 2022, I have been working as a Private Tutor at Eureka Smart Learning Center. I teach reading and writing in both Bahasa Indonesia and English, as well as Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies to students ranging from kindergarten to junior high school level. Each day, I guide up to 5–8 students, providing clear explanations and answering questions to help them gain a stronger understanding of the subjects.
I’m comfortable with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office for data input, recapping, and general administration. I use Canva and Photoshop for creating visual content. Also use Slack, Discord, CRM systems, and other systems I'm ready to learn. On the personal side, I’m honest, diligent, detail oriented, analytical, quick to adapt, and strong in communication, teamwork, and time management. My English is at an intermediate level, while Bahasa Indonesia is my native language. I’ve also completed a Copywriting Class in 2023 and a Mini Bootcamp (SGBVA) in 2025 to keep developing my skills.
I genuinely enjoy roles that combine language, education, content creation, and administrative support. I bring reliability, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn quickly to every opportunity.
