Pension and Retirement Services for General Electric US. A regular day at this role involved multiple tasks in an English enviroment such as: Answer incoming calls from current and former employees, retirees and pensioners from the company, where the main goal was a one-call resolution and deliver excellent customer service. During tax season, the shift implied to answer a minimum of 30 calls per day in a multitasking environment updating employee/pensioner's bank information, address, beneficiaries, survivor support election, etc. The service provided also included to help future pensioners and retirees to make their pension elections, supporting one of the most important moment from their carreers, tax implications based on their elections and type of retirement depending on the company's offer. During my two years working for the Pension Team I succeded in excel the client's requirement and expectations, having 100% satisfaction CSATs and surveys for more than a year in a row.
During my time at the Pension Team, there were moments where a user needed help to understand and complete their Retirement package. If the employee already had their package at home, we went page by page reviewing all the items from the Pension Plan together, making sure they understand their options, giving the time they needed to go over all choices and make the one that better suited them. Once all forms were completed, they could upload or email me the forms directly during the call to make sure I review it before submitting to the processing team and nothing is missing/incorrect/unchecked and required fields. Once everything was okay, I delivered the forms to the correct team to ensure we reach the payroll deadline and start their pension payments as soon as possible. There were times when a former employee contacted us with curiosity to know if there were any pension plan payments left and if so, helped them to get the correct package depending on their eligibility and offer a callback once it is sent to go over the forms together.
