I’ve been building and marketing websites for 10 years. I’ve worked as a freelance SEO, as a search marketing specialist at online cycle retailer ChainReactionCycles.com and as marketing manager at online fashion retailer SurfStitch.com. Currently I run ActiveAzur.com, a Wordpress blog about outdoor sports in France. If you Google 'kitesurfing france' or 'mountain biking alps' you'll find it.

At Chain Reaction Cycles, the world's largest online bike store, I looked after paid and organic search. I helped the business gain ground in the SERPs, worked directly with Google to optimise the Adwords campaigns and turned social media fans into customers.

I joined SurfStitch as it was starting up. I recruited the marketing team and set up all the marketing channels from scratch including paid search, social media, affiliate, email and remarketing. I used the multi-channel approach to quickly reach new customers at the point when they were ready to buy.

At SurfStitch.com there were some major international SEO challenges to overcome. I ran SEO audits and, with the support of the developers, worked on implementing the solutions, including adding hreflang tags across all international sites, and improving site speed by optimising the content delivery network.

I managed customer acquisition to an agreed cost of sale and routinely split tested Adwords campaigns, email campaigns, landing pages and checkout pages.

Currently, I run ActiveAzur.com, a blog and directory about outdoor sports in France. I target ‘activity + destination’ keywords, producing top ranking evergreen content that brings a continuous stream of highly engaged visitors.
