Mary Joyce A. Ocampo

Im currently working as Administrative Assistant II under Finance Management Division- Accounting Unit in a government hospita .I am in charge of receiving and processing of disbursement vouchers of simple claims and complex claims such as various payrolls, remittances, replenishments, reimbursements, consignment, and payment to suppliers. I am also in charge in receiving the Inspection and Acceptance Report from Materials Management Unit and the Purchase Order from Procurement Unit and reconcile them and post to the Inventory of Trust Account (TA) Book.

I also previously worked as Project Development Officer II in the Finance Management Division - Accounting Unit at Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) for the past five (5) years. I was assigned in reconciling of book records at the Accounting Unit versus Subsidiary Ledger Balances particularly due to the GSIS Account, preparing of working sheets as reference to adjustments made and recording of adjusting journal entries to E-NGAS for approval of reconciled subsidiary ledgers. I was also in charge of recording of journal entry vouchers of Contractual payroll, remittances, and other expenses to E-NGAS(Accounting Software) . Previously assigned as one of the reviewers of Internal Control Team for more than four (4) years, I was in charge of reviewing disbursement vouchers of all claims as to completeness, validity and completeness of all attachments and monitoring the status of all subsidies under a particular program that are being processed in the Accounting Unit. 

I also previously worked as an Accounting Assistant at Supervalue, Inc. (SM Supermarket) for the past 6 years. I was in charge of reviewing and auditing of daily sales transactions, recording and processing of payments to suppliers according to payment terms, reconciliation of bank transactions and monitoring of company expenses and receivables. As an accounting staff over tje years, I have become equipped with the necessary knowledge and it develops the enthusiasm and passion for this field that made me last for years on the job that I am in. I believe my experience, communication skills, and interpersonal abilities would make me a strong fit for the position related to my experiences.
