Mary Joy Ogena

I’m an experienced accounting professional with over 5 years of progressive experience in various finance and accounting roles. I hold a strong background in accounts payable, general accounting, tax compliance, and financial analysis.

Currently, I work as an AP Analyst II at Tenet Global Business Center, where I ensure accurate and timely invoice processing, manage vendor setup, and assist in month-end reporting. Before this, I was with Mc Ritz International Corporation as an Accounting Assistant, where I handled tax provisions, permit renewals, petty cash monitoring, and fixed asset tracking.

Prior to that, I spent almost two years at Brenton International Venture Manufacturing Corp., where I served as both a Financial Analyst and later promoted to General Accounting Section Head. There, I gained solid experience in financial reporting, bank reconciliations, P&L preparation, and supervising accounting staff.

I started my career at Asiaworld Advertising Inc., first as an intern and later as an Accounting Specialist, where I managed payables and receivables, prepared financial reports for regional branches, and conducted regular bank reconciliations.

Across all my roles, I’ve consistently demonstrated attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in fast-paced environments. I’m passionate about continuous learning and process improvement, and I’m currently looking to grow in a role that offers more challenge and opportunities to deepen my expertise in accounting and finance.
