I worked as a virtual assistant for an Amazon store and was trained to manage inventory, check on sales, handle the store, answer customer issues as well as product research. I also worked as a sales agent in a BPO for three years for one of the biggest Canadian retailers. We were trained for customer service as well as making sales through up-selling and I also worked as Verification/Credit officer for an international bank (HSBC Electronic Data Processing, Phils.). My work in the bank requires being keen to details and to use critical thinking, following up requirements either through calls or through email and coming up with a credit decision or doing referrals to other team. I'm good at using Microsoft offices and I can converse, read and write in English very well. I also do a bit of graphic design and video editing using phone apps (Canva, Toolwhiz, Power Director and Viva Video), although my works are mostly for personal use or personal favors and not for an actual client. I am a fast learner and very keen to details, so if there is something I don't know I make sure I find the right resources so I can learn them. My goal for working at home is to have a work-life balance where I can still grow professionally.
