CV Marlene Halim Email:-Relevant Work and Study Experience: November 2021—present: Editing and proofreading; translation Essays, non-fiction articles, academic writing (MLA and APA), scholarship application letter, brochure for non-profit organization, and hotel website posts Translating Indonesian to English May 2021-August 2021: English online tutor for 3rd grade student Spring Term 2021: Completed Academic Writing Course online at Palomor College in California Sept 2020-Dec 2020: I completed my certification for 140 hours of education in Teaching English as a Foreign Language, which also included teaching English to Young Learners, teaching English online, Business English, and Teaching Standardized Examinations TOEFL, IELTS, and TOEIC. Dec. 2016-Oct. 2020: Assistant Classroom Educator in Springs Charter School, Temecula, CA, for Grade 6 English. My job was to tutor small groups of students or work with a student one-on-one who had learning difficulties or needed guided attention in any aspect of English Composition. I worked also with a number of ESL students. In addition, the lessons I designed to reinforce the State Curriculum were used in small group instruction.
